Gillian Wearing’s Spiritual Family

Striking photographic works by British artist Gillian Wearing have gone on display at the National Portrait Gallery.

Part of her Spiritual Family self-portrait series (2008-2013), the four images on show depict Wearing dressed as four artists who have had a profound effect on her practice: Diane Arbus, Robert Mapplethorpe, Andy Warhol and Claude Cahun.
